Prolouge

He felt the very familiar tingling sensation he always got. It started in 
his torso, then spread through his arms and legs until it enveloped his 
entire body. The leaping was almost done. Although his eyes were closed, he 
knew what was happening. The quantum blue that only he could see was 
dissipating as he finished his leap. Sam Beckett opened his eyes, hoping, 
just hoping, that when he opened them, he would see the familiar background 
of Project Quantum Leap.
     "Dr. Beckett?"
     "Oh my god!" Sam said. It was Gooshie! He had finally done it! He had 
leaped home!
